Upbeat Ads & Personal Style

A recent article featured on MSN.com discussed the most successful magazine ads of this past summer. More notable than the products identified by Gfk MRI’s Starch Advertising Research’s work, was that the winning advertising was couched in context-specific, medium appropriate humor. The message may be that whether we selling products or ourselves, a bit of upbeat levity is great for style. Don’t take yourself too seriously.
